Palo Santo incense wood (quality A++)


Palo Santo, translated as "holy wood", comes predominantly from the dry forests of South America, especially from countries such as Peru and Ecuador. The tree from which the wood is obtained belongs to the genus Bursera, related to the frankincense tree (frankincense also produces a very effective essential oil) . Harvesting is usually done from dead trees or in a sustainable way to maintain ecological balance .
